Hey there, welcome to [Podcast Name]! I’m [Your Name], and I’m here to share some of the wild, hilarious stories from my family life. If you enjoy quirky, unpredictable tales, you’re in the right place. Today, we’re diving into one of our craziest adventures—an incident with my sister and a batch of frozen fries that turned into a hit-and-run like no other.

Alright, let’s talk about my sister—the mastermind behind a tragic hit-and-run accident involving… Chippy.

I have a younger brother and a sister. Both of them are, let’s say, uniquely odd individuals. But today, the spotlight is on my sister.

She’s 23, lives in a snowy part of Japan, and works at a café & bar next to a ski resort. Now, my sister is smart—but not in the “I make great life choices” way. No, she’s smart in the “I let everyone else figure things out first so I don’t have to” kind of way.

See, my brother and I unknowingly paved the road for her entire life. As kids, I was the one making my parents angry daily, while my brother had them constantly worried. My sister? She just watched and took notes.

My brother started martial arts—so she did too. I started swimming—she jumped in. I played basketball—guess who suddenly became a basketball prodigy?

And that’s the thing—she wasn’t just following us, she was outdoing us. She got scouted for basketball and breezed into high school with a sports recommendation. Then she pulled the same trick for university—choosing the same one as my brother, who had actually studied for the entrance exams.

He learned Spanish, she learned German. And me? Well, I’m currently losing my mind with Duolingo Italian.

Fast forward to this year: we both took a skiing test. I got 62 points in Parallel and Stem turns. My mom, who took it last year, got 63. My sister? She casually scored 64 in Parallel and 63 in Stem—because of course she did. (Oh, and she has an annual ski pass, so she practices all the time. No big deal.)

Now, let’s get to the true crime event of the day: The Chippy Incident.

While working at the café, my sister received a delivery—13kg of frozen French fries, lovingly called ‘Chippy.’ There was no space in the freezer, so naturally, she did what any logical person would do: buried them in the snow outside.

The next day, there was heavy snowfall, so they rented a snowblower—the kind that sucks up snow and launches it into the air. You can see where this is going.

Nobody remembered the Chippy were buried. So the snowblower scooped them up and sent them flying. Frozen potatoes, soaring majestically through the sky, scattering across the snow like golden confetti.

I saw a picture of the crime scene. The contrast of bright yellow fries on white snow… honestly? It was kind of beautiful.
